What happens after they press Register
They sign up in under a minute
A full team, part of a team, or on their own. They say how many bowlers they are registering, and names are optional: a captain who has two of his four confirmed can hold all four places and give you the rest later. Every registrant confirms their email with a code, so invented teams never reach your queue.
You decide, quietly
Approve, waitlist or decline in your dashboard. None of it emails anybody, so you can change your mind as often as you like. PinPortal spots part-teams that could share a lane and suggests the combinations, without ever splitting up people who signed up together.
One email when teams are set
Press Finalize and everyone hears at once. Those with a place get the first night, the time, their team and who they are bowling with. Those who missed out are told plainly and sent your other leagues that are still open, so a bowler who would have bowled Thursdays is not simply lost.
Then export the finished roster as a printable sheet or a CSV, team by team with the captain first, ready to key into your league software.
