Generating TV score boards
Go to League Management → Generate TV Images.
What gets generated
- Last week’s high games: men’s and women’s handicap + scratch boards.
- Last week’s high series: same layout for series.
- Season highs: generated at season end.
- 300 Club: a running board of perfect games across all leagues.
All images are 1920×1080 JPEGs sized for any TV.
When they update
The latest week’s boards regenerate automatically after every import. You can regenerate everything manually with Generate All, do this after changing branding or colors (a notice reminds you when images are out of date).
If you fix a score with the Data Integrity tools, the affected week’s boards regenerate automatically too.
Bowler of the Week
A slide built around one bowler’s photo, with their name, league, team and what they did last week. It is the board people stop and look at, because it has a face on it rather than a table.
Choose how it picks on the Generate TV Images page:
- The standout. Whoever beat their own average by the most last week. This is the default, and the one worth using: it makes the slide an honour somebody earned rather than a name drawn from a hat. It picks again on its own whenever a new week is imported.
- At random. Anybody who bowled last week. Also re-picks itself on each new week, and will not repeat itself within the same week.
- Somebody you choose. Stays until you change it. Never re-picked automatically, because it is a decision you made rather than a calculation.
Only bowlers who have uploaded a profile photo can appear, in every mode including the one where you pick by hand. The slide is built around the picture, so a bowler without one would be a silhouette on a large screen. If somebody you pinned later removes their photo or their profile is hidden, the slide is removed rather than falling back to a silhouette or quietly promoting somebody else.
The same privacy rules as the bowler pages apply throughout, so hidden bowlers, private profiles and youth leagues are never featured.
When nobody qualifies, no slide is generated and the rotation simply skips it, the same way the birthday slide behaves in a week with no birthdays.
