Importing a season ZIP

Go to League Management → Upload Scores and choose your league export ZIP.

What happens

  1. Scan. PinPortal reads the ZIP and lists every week it found, the league name, and season.
  2. Assign. Choose the existing league to import into, or enter a new league name. Confirm the season label.
  3. Import. Every week imports in one pass: standings, weekly team scores, high games and series, rosters with averages and handicaps, and upcoming lane assignments. TV boards for the latest week are generated automatically.

Good to know

  • Re-importing the same ZIP is always safe: each week is replaced wholesale, never duplicated.
  • Bowler gender for the men’s/women’s boards comes from your league software’s data. If someone shows on the wrong board, fix it once with a gender override in the league editor, it survives future imports.
  • If you import fresh scores into a league marked inactive, PinPortal warns you and offers to reactivate it right from the import screen.
  • Where standings come from. Whenever your export includes a standing sheet for a week, those standings are used exactly as printed. If the latest week has scores but no sheet yet, PinPortal computes standings from the weekly match results, those weeks show a small footnote on the public standings (“computed by PinPortal”) and are marked with an asterisk in the league diagnose report, so you always know which numbers came from your league software and which were derived. Importing the week’s sheet later replaces the computed standings and clears the footnote.
